My friend Nan, brought her scarf woven by Randall Darwall to visit me. This is some major inspiration. He plays with color in a way that makes it sing. My pictures do not do it justice… hopefully it will visit again.

These colors have been calling to me from Caroles part of our studio. They are from a recent cotton and rayon dyeing day. I hope to get lots of dyeing done in the next couple of weeks in preparation for the Wisconsin Sheep and Wool festival, Sept 5-7th. Three days…what was I thinking?
I mostly hear form calling to me, though sometimes color if I feel the urge to work with wool.
Thank you, thank you for that beautiful image of the Darwall scarf!
Colors call and cats talk. I’m glad if I get an inkling of what they’re saying. Did you hear that birds see the same colors as we do, with the addition of ultra-violet? ( I also hear public radio).
