In honor of the days getting longer, I have decided to take matters into my own hands and inject a little color into my life. Weaving these color gamp towels has helped me fight the February doldrums before; and once they are done their “in your face” cheerfulness, just makes me smile. My wish is that you too find some color inspiration as we not so patiently wait for the chance to smell dirt and watch the spring flowers bloom.
Color my world with fiber

Your pictures are having an immediate beneficial effect on me.
As I read your comments about ‘waiting’ (for a change in the weather), I wonder at the contrast which is my world right now. Here, one cyclone has past and another is likely to form. Torrential rain falls intermittently throughout the day and night, deep mists gather about the mountain range and everything outside is humid and hot, green, greener, growing, drenched, soggy, dripping. Frog rhythms counterpoint the drumming rain. I wait for dry, cooler weather, but it is yet some months off.
Oh my. I woke up this morning to a world white with snow (yes, in South Carolina!) and then was blinded by all the beautiful color in your blog post! Wonderful! Makes me happy!
Can’t wait to see these finished! The color is definitely a welcome sight to me here in Michigan 🙂
I was looking through your post mesmerized by the colors….thinking I’m not even reading her text….then realizing the text was at the bottom!!
Thanks for the shot of color!!! I need it in my buried-in-snow part of the world!!

Love the Moo cards….I’m tempted, very tempted. We have had grey skies and 2 feet of snow on the ground for almost 2 months,in British Columbia; our first bit of sun popped out only 4 days ago….I needed your colour gamp! Thanks for the happy fix.
