I swear to god that I am not making chili again this winter; in the hope that will be enough to bring an actual spring. We had a couple of beautiful near 50 degree days, and then last thursday had a winter storm, with ice, snow, sleet, thunder and lightning (yea) and every other form of precipitaion possible. Kids home from school early, me wanting to weave at the studio but deciding to head home on the crystallized roads before they got worse. Snuggled up with my baby wolf at home, with my middle daughter to help me wind a goose eye runner on the loom, made chili (this is the fiber content of this post), doesn’t sound so bad. But as I am sure everyone else in Wisconsin feels, enough already! Let go of us winter, what’s with this single digit temps…it’s almost march. No more chili!
I totally agree! No more chili.
Hang in there, Mud Season is just around the corner…
It’s called Climate Change.
