Our 2nd Monday in October weavers had a lovely and brisk gathering surrounded by beautiful fall colors at our local park. As I am writing this we have just had our first snowfall of the season so it will be interesting to see how we social gather in the upcoming winter months. Kathy has offered for us to get together in November around a fire and if we get cold she has lots of wonderful areas to hike. Sounds good to me.
by the way…thank you fall for the most colorful and healing beauty that has been just what I’ve needed to get through our trying times.

I brought these chenille scarves to show my biggest oops in weaving. Using rayon chenille as a supplementary warp made for worming beyond anything I could repair. Not that I didn’t try. Amazingly each disaster scarf went home with someone. Can’t wait to see what they do with them. Here is Anne Marie shown supporting her weaver friends by wearing my black bead leno scarf as a head wrap along with Kathy’s warm and lovely gray and yellow scarf . Plus my pink disaster scarf. At least she looks warm.
My newest projects. I’m having fun learning silversmithing and I finished my knitted cotton summer top in time for the first snow
