The last farmers market flowers.
Our fiber group shared a lovely day at Eckhardt Park for our 2nd Monday weavers gathering in September. Although it is hard to say what the colder weather will bring. We acknowledge that the isolation of not getting together once a month is not what any of us wants, so stay tuned to see if we brave the cold gathered around a fire wrapped in blankets or if we go back to just touching base via emails. Either way we will find a way to share our creative endeavors or how we are managing to stay sane in such an uncertain time. It looks like we are having some nice weather coming up so maybe we will squeeze one more gathering at the park October 12. Join us if you can.

Weaving during the pandemic. Barb B’s therapy fabric in all its glory. I love the cloud section and the paper beads.
I was pretty excited to weave this rug for my daughters friends wedding. However apparently I’ve forgotten how to weave as I made every mistake in the book while threading the heddles and sleying the reed. At least I loved the end result, I hope that she does too.
It is turning out to be a spectacular fall. Some solace for trying times.
Emma’s rug
I’m feeling all “Lord Of The Rings” with my collection of simple rings that I have made/ Judith is doing some cathartic needlework/ Nan has been busy with her newest jewelry creations on top of my rosepath rag rug.

It was good to finally catch up with some of you. Lovely colors in your post……much needed in our world right now.
I have a rug off the loom so would have something to share if we meet at the park. Just keep us posted. This week I am in an on-line yarn spinning competition. In three days I spun 818 yards of two ply. Yes, I am exhausted. But, the good news is that I now have the yarn spun for one of my WI Sheep and Wool Festival sweater for next year.
Your rug is beautiful!!!! I love that color.
