This summer has come and gone in the blink of an eye; with a trip to New York City to visit a daughter and then a more relaxing week next to Lake Superior at Grand Marais , with lots of weaving for the Driftless Area Art Fair thrown in every spare second. It was a whirlwind and now its time to cozy up with some knitting, spinning and some playtime sketching and painting in my art journals. I do love fall.
So here is a brief photo journey of some of my favorite summer pics.
Wow…..when you put it all down in one post you can see that you have been really busy and very productive in the middle of it all. Maybe Super Woman status would be applicable in your case. All of your weavings are so lovely!

Thanks Barb, I’m definitely ready for a break.
what is the pattern on the orange-red scarf? 8 harness? a twill? it is so pleasing for fall with just the right colors.
Hi Melissa
It is a 8 harness self drafted turned twill in Bambu 12. The weft is in red. Glad that you liked it. At 30epi I am planning on tying a blue version onto this warp.
